Charlotte Hounds
The Charlotte Hounds are a Major League Lacrosse (MLL) professional men’s field lacrosse franchise that began play in the 2012 MLL season along with Ohio Machine as part of the league’s plan to have 16 teams by 2020. The team is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. The team’s home games are played at American Legion Memorial Stadium.

North Carolina Tar Heels
The North Carolina Tar Heels teams represent the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in sports. The Tar Heels compete in Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Being the oldest public university and oldest collegiate team in the Carolinas, the school is nicknamed “Carolina” in athletics.

Duke Blue Devils
The Duke Blue Devils teams represent Duke University in sports. The Blue Devils compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). The team play their home football games at Wallace Wade Stadium in Durham, North Carolina.

NC State Wolfpack
The NC State Wolfpack teams represent North Carolina State University in sports. The Wolfpack compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference, East Atlantic Gymnastics League, Great America Rifle Conference.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons
The Wake Forest Demon Deacons teams represent Wake Forest University in sports. The Demon Deacons compete in the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Wake Forest plays its home football games at BB&T Field.

Asheville Tourists
The Asheville Tourists are a minor league baseball team based in Asheville, North Carolina, USA. They play in the Class A South Atlantic League and have been a farm team of the Colorado Rockies since 1994.

Burlington Royals
The Burlington Royals are a minor league baseball team in Burlington, North Carolina, United States. They are a Rookie-level team in the Appalachian League and have been a farm team of the Kansas City Royals since September 1, 2006. The Royals play home games at Burlington Athletic Stadium. Opened in 1960, Burlington Athletic Stadium seats 3,500 fans.

Carolina Mudcats
The Carolina Mudcats are a minor league baseball team based in Zebulon, North Carolina. They are currently members of the Carolina League and are the Class A-Advanced affiliate of the Cleveland Indians Major League Baseball (MLB) team. They play their home games at Five County Stadium.

Charlotte Knights
The Charlotte Knights are a minor league baseball team representing Charlotte, North Carolina. The team, which plays in theInternational League, is the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox of the American League. The Knights played in Knights Stadium, located in Fort Mill, South Carolina, a suburb of Charlotte, through the 2013 season, but are scheduled to move to BB&T Ballpark in uptown Charlotte in 2014.

Durham Bulls
The Durham Bulls are a Triple-A minor league baseball team that currently plays in the International League. The Bulls play their home games at Durham Bulls Athletic Park located in the downtown area of Durham, North Carolina. Durham Bulls Athletic Park is often called the “DBAP” or “D-Bap”. The Bulls are the Triple-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.

Greensboro Grasshoppers
The Greensboro Grasshoppers (formerly the Greensboro Bats and the Greensboro Hornets) are a minor league baseball team in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States. They are a Class A team in the South Atlantic League, and have been a farm team of the Miami Marlins since 2003. The Grasshoppers play home games at NewBridge Bank Park (formerly First Horizon Park), which opened in 2005 and seats 7,499 fans.

Hickory Crawdads
The Hickory Crawdads are a Minor League Baseball team in Hickory, North Carolina, USA. They are a Class A team in the South Atlantic League, and have been a farm team of the Texas Rangers since 2009. From 1999-2008, they were a Class A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates, and from their inception in 1993 until 1998 they were a Class A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The Crawdads play home games at Crawdads Stadium. The Crawdads won the South Atlantic League Championship in 2002 and again in 2004. The team has appeared in the SAL finals twice, and the SAL playoffs 9 times.

Kannapolis Intimidators
The Kannapolis Intimidators are a minor league baseball team in Kannapolis, North Carolina. The team is a Class Low-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox and has played in the South Atlantic League under various names and team affiliations since its inception in 1995. The Intimidators play home games at CMC-NorthEast Stadium.

Winston-Salem Dash
The Winston-Salem Dash is a minor league baseball team in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, USA. They are a Class High-A team in the Carolina League and have been a farm team of the Chicago White Sox since 1997. The Dash began playing their home games at the new BB&T Ballpark beginning in 2010 after having Ernie Shore Field (now known as Gene Hooks Field at Wake Forest Baseball Park) as their home from 1956 to 2009.
